The primary purpose of this book is to present quantitative forecasting of the mid-term probability of large earthquakes both globally and over various regions of the world.? The author used the novel seismic activity regression formula to calculate the probability of an earthquake, in the global and major seismic zones, with any given magnitude at any given time since the most recent earthquake of the same magnitude. This book is the author's 50+ years accumulation of achievements in researching and teaching geophysics and seismology for mitigation of earthquake disasters. 烤肉區是在後院，貼心的主人怕客人下雨時無法享受烤肉樂趣，特別搭建一大片的採光罩，讓客人可以開心的烤肉。後院種植了一排落羽松，一年四季呈現不同的風貌。一旁有一個小水池，可以讓小孩觀賞水中的生態。還有一個大沙坑，這是小朋友的最愛。大人一邊烤肉，還可以欣賞花蓮得天獨厚的美麗星空，小孩子快樂在旁玩沙坑，真是一個舒適的環境呀！民宿也有腳踏車，讓入住的客人也可以享受騎著單車在鄉間小路欣賞田園風光。
